CASINO BADENWhen the clock struck midnight I found myself with 3 friends @ the Casino Baden (near Vienna) - watching the most spectecular firework i've ever seen! The atmosphere was great and the sparkling wine was exquisite ;)

Well I was in Rio de Janeiro - Brasil, in the most beautyfull beach ever.
Lots of fireworks, from an apartment in front of the ocean.. so magical !!!
at midnight it was amazing.. the waves, strarted to get smaller and smaller.. by some reason the water was just pure and crystaline enough so we could see the bottom of the sea.. the fireworks ZIII!!!! TUTUMMM!! hehehe suberb ... 2006 the best for all of us !!! health, work, rewards, wisdom...

I was just outside of the door of the party, with a few friends, hugging a girl, and when some of the firework-shooting had disappeared, we had a snowfight. Quite pleasan.

Also ich war am Wiener "Roten Platz". Naja ok so schlimm war es nicht, aber ich war beim Hochstrahlbrunnen (Schwarzenbergplatz) und eben bei der einen Statue des Russischen Soldaten. Irgendwie haben ein paar Leute von einem Hausdach gegenüber versucht aus sicher 100 Meter Entfernung eben diesen russischen Soldaten (natürlich nur die Statue) mit Raketen zu treffen. Genialerweise gelang ihnen das sogar auch einmal :-) (hab ich Videotechnisch festgehalten)

Ansonsten war ich umringt von Freunden und wir sind Anstossender Weise ins nächste Jahr gerutscht. Feuerwerk war auch sehr nett bis auf die Tatsache das vom Häuserdach gegenüber bei der Statuetrefferübung auch eine Querschläger ins Puplikum gingen. Aber was wäre Silvester schon ohne Brandlöcher.

Hiermit wünsche ich auch allen ein HAPPY NEW YEAR und möge 2006 besser als 2005 werden :-)

i was in Peuerbach / upperAustria. In fact i drove the car. so i'm not allowed to drink anything. champaign breakfeast for everyone!

... in liesing/wien auf nem balkon mit wunderschöner aussicht auf nen grauen innenhof, dutzende leute neben mir obwohl eigentlich nur ~5 auf den balkon gepasst hätten...
stimmung war aber grandios, a-spiegel auch, leute auch, aktionen auch, kind of perfect party... yay... an guten start an alle :)

I was with 6 other friends in her apartment watching the countdown in Toronto's Nathan Philips Square (We decided not to brave the crowds by going there).

I was 9500 miles far from home (Rio de Janeiro - Brazil) in Faringdon (UK) about 90miles from London with my wife visiting my son, his wife and my grandson. Me, my wife and BIG-BEN in 2006-02-01 here
