Austria’s Markus Rogan won the 200-meter backstroke and the 200 individual medley at the European short course swimming championships today.
Rogan won the backstroke final in 1 minute, 51.24 seconds, holding off Slovenia’s Blaz Medvesek (1:52.39) and Russian Yewgeni Aleshin (1:53.71).
An hour later, Rogan captured the medley in 1:55.15, edging Hungarian Laszlo Cseh (1:55.36). Lithuania’s Vitautas Janusaitis was third in 1:57.45.
